Egoscue warm-up and cool-down for golfers

Golf requires a stable and mobile body. A body with a sound posture has this.

Unfortunately because of our modern day lifestyles many people have some form of postural misalignment. This can lead to pain when playing sports such as golf.

But remember, it’s not golf that is the problem, but rather the body we bring to golf!

If your posture is out of alignment to begin with, then when you play golf you might put extra stress on certain parts of your body.

Over time this can lead to conditions such as a muscle strain, cartilage loss, tendonitis etc.

Treatments which just focus on the condition often don’t help in the long-term and so the pain can return either in the same location or somewhere else.

The key is getting your body back into it’s natural pain free postural alignment.

In this video, Pete Egoscue, Posture Correction Specialist and founder of The Egoscue Method, shows you some simple exercises you can do before you play golf.
